I am originally from Metro Detroit and obtained a B.A. in Psychology (minor in Spanish) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. I obtained a MS and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University with an emphasis in Women's Health through Stanford University.

Throughout my training and subsequent clinical experience, I have worked with all ages in a variety of settings (e.g., primary care clinic, hospital, schools, etc). The majority of my experience has focused on adolescents and adults. I've provided services in both English and Spanish, working in various communities within the Bay Area.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the various trails available in our area, as well as crafting.

Approach

Welcome! Finding a therapist is often a daunting task. As a psychologist, my objective is to take a client-centered approach by understanding your goals in order to develop a clear plan to help get you there. My clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy within the context of a Family Systems and Psychodynamic framework. Put simply, I strive to provide tools to aid with suffering in the present, while also working to improve overall relationships and functioning.

If you feel that my approach could be of help to you, please contact me to set up a free phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
